Grants & Evaluation

With a substantial budget to raise each year for the Salt Fork Arts & Crafts Festival, it is crucial to apply for any and all grants that the Ohio Arts and Crafts Foundation may be eligible to submit an application.  Grants along with fundraising, cash donations, and in-kind contributions make up the total Festival budget.  Without this combination, it would be impossible to fulfill our Festival mission.  An evaluation is completed at the conclusion of each annual Festival that is compiled from an artist survey, information collected from committee chairman, and feedback from the local community.

The Festival was approved in 2005 and 2006 for an Ohio Arts Council, Columbus, Ohio "Arts Access Grant". The Festival was also awarded the Ohio Arts Council "Sustainability Grant" for 2007 and 2008. The Ohio Arts and Crafts Foundation has just received word that it has been awarded the 2009 Sustainability Grant from the Ohio Arts Council, Columbus, Ohio for the 2009 Salt Fork Arts & Crafts Festival.
