Performing Arts

Performing Arts has been a part of the Salt Fork Arts & Crafts Festival Since its inception in 1968.  Our mission is to bring skilled entertainers into the Festival that have researched the history of their song, music, dance and different eras of theater created over the years, and give at least one-hour performances to share skills of the by-gone days to entertain adults and preserve the performing arts in our children.

The Performing Arts component of the Festival offers a variety of live musical talent for your listening pleasure from jazz to blues to modern rock and alternative music.  In addition, entertainment by a hand drumming professional is followed by an interactive drum circle that includes audience participation.  Although the band list is always somewhat tentative in some regards, each band is diverse in its presentation and musical style.  Festival attendees will have a chance to not only enjoy some of their favorites, but also experience something new.
