Ways & Means
There are many costs associated in providing the 42nd annual Salt Fork Arts and Crafts Festival, one of the largest festival events in Ohio. Each year, some electrical wiring must be replaced, and artists electrical needs must be met as well. Other important costs to be met include: free standing display boards for art work, rental tents, performing arts contracts, heritage of the arts contracts and activity expenses, awards, supply costs, equipment and other service contracts to make the Festival operational.
Under the present Board of Trustees,
the Salt Fork Arts and Crafts Festival has expanded its programs
in the last nine years to include Market Place and Heritage of the
Arts. Performing Arts fluctuates each year with an up and
down cost factor. Both Heritage of the Arts and Performing
Arts requires a set cost of contracts to be fulfilled.
Your financial support not only provides
direct resources, it is also a sign of your commitment and serves
as seed money to garner funds from a variety of other sources; such
as, grant funding. The overall growth in resources is vital
to the Salt Fork Arts and Crafts Foundation's continued success
in meeting the challenges of the Salt Fork Arts and Crafts Festival
that the Foundation sponsors annually.
In 2010, the Salt Fork Arts and Crafts
Foundation and Salt Fork Arts and Crafts Festival will celebrate
its 42nd year. We will need your financial help more than
ever.
The Ways and Means Committee along with the Ohio Arts and Crafts Foundation Board of Trustees will be holding fundraisers in 2010 and we simply ask that you come out and support the fundraising efforts with all of the funds raised going towards the Salt Fork Arts and Crafts Festival.
Our Salt Fork Arts and Crafts Committee chairmen and our community volunteers who will assist the Ways and Means Committee in its fund raising efforts are very important to us, for without them there would be no Salt Fork Arts and Crafts Festival, one of the largest festival events in this region.
Your volunteer assistance is always worth its weight in gold to us and if you would like to volunteer for any of our fund raising endeavors, please contact us.
